Family Share is back for legitimate users

I did not get any notice from Steam but i can login and play from shared PC.

Are you sure its still with family share? They gave me the game for free, i used to play with family share also and then i notice "New world is already in your Steam Library".

I doubt that, one person can play the game at the time with family sharing AFAIK (might be wrong)

That's how it always worked with Family Share, if you disable it the game will disappear from account it has been shared to.

I do not think it really is family share.

They are looking into previous "shared accounts" and allowing real players who have serious investment (time and/or money) into that shared account.

They are not opening up the game to family share again.

That's how it always worked with Family Share, if you disable it the game will disappear from account it has been shared to.

But if you played with family share and you're not the owner of the game, you wouldn't have "has New world" besides your nickname and if you go to Library > New world , it doesn't say "From the library of (person who shares his library) like it used to say before.

Oh, you are right. So they did grant license to the shared account.

You mean multiple accounts when you bought 1 game, doubt that too, no company do it, no company will do that as I know.

Remote play could but it's local games no need for accounts.

NO. If you use the same account you get a shared view of the other game. For family share to work you need separate steam accounts.

My children have their own Steam account and we are connected via Family Share! But it's the only game you can't see?
