new world endgame trains such in reekwater

are the worst game ever ways i have experienced in a mmo to grind up gear. its zero fun running between 3 elites on stairs with 50 other ppl trying toget 15% dmg on the boss

I never encountered any trains and I never visited reekwater, it sounds like a fun outpost.
So what does it cost to use the train?

You need 15% dmg on the boss? I am melee and I couldn't even get close to any bosses because people block me. Having collision in pve flagged content is so stupid lol

Yes, if there are too many players, chances are no one will get a drop from the bosses. The end-game is such a bore and tedious. I don't think the developers play their own game to see how brain dead it is. Although, the journey to the end-game was fun for me tbf.

Avoid, bus/train/bashing that's gameplay not good, u will ruin your experience game

I agree that train running sucks, just opening chests/containers and 5-10fps boss fights.

Guild Wars 2 did this way better.

WoW does it best with progression based PVE and PVP. I think this is why WoW is so popular over the years. There are no gates or capped off content, you basically hit max level or close to - then farm pre raid bis by playing dungeons, then you can do raids or arenas/battlegrounds.

I think AGS will listen to it's playerbase and slowly fix it.

Even ESO which has amazing quests, made it too easy to get the top tier gear. I only played ESO 3 months and was best in slot for every item. All I did was grind corruption like anchors and got keys for chests in pve dungeons.

The best part of NW?? Solo elite HWM...I do that without bugging out mobs. It is super difficult and I die multiple times trying but when I down an elite its satisfying. Sure it's slower than those daily trains, it's still something.

NW needs solo dungeons and more group dungeons where you DONT have to farm fricken orbs/keys. That is such a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ way to do things.

I found the easiest way to get myself the best gear or close to in game. I farm wood, iron, starmetal, rawhide and fibers. I made about 20,000 gold a day doing that. I then just buy the 600 legendaries off the trading post. It's a little absurd that I can do that really.

I like gathering, it's calming for me and I can still get full legendary gear doing it, without having to grind out crafting or chest runs. I still think it's not how the game should be played.

The first time I heard the term was in Realm of the Mad God. But it wasn't called a "train" it was called a "r***train" but got shortened to not offend people.
