However you create a sort of unfair scenario - the game is *designed* to be played with two weapons - not every weapon has an ability that overcomes every other ability. What would be the point. You'd be playing with a chess board covered in Queens.
So. between musket and another weapon, you have 12 possible ability options....Up to you to use a build that can defeat enemies.
Use musket to get a good headshot + DOT, throw a trap, CC with hammer, then back to musket for empowered headshot critical.....
or something like that.
No, the first short is at ranged, the trap and CC gives you time to roll back and give yourself more space/time to use ranged again.
Of course, the enemies second weapon could be a spear or something that can knock or pin you while they close distance :P - everyone has an opportunity to use tactics.
In PvE just wait for the mob to drop their guard or just break through their stamina. Their is a passive that helps deal additional stamina damage but I personally don't think it's necessary.
That is correct. SS users are very bad in PvP right now. They have trouble getting close, and can't tank much more than just Sword users. It's faulty mastery tree, but then again most other weapons are like that.
