trading post server prices?
I was wondering what the economy was like on the higher populated servers? I'm on a mostly dead server and basic crafting resources (flux, sandpaper, etc) are going for 3 gold a piece. I'm wondering if it would be easier to transfer to higher pop or not to level skills.

in general, the more pople are in a server, the lower the prices are.
but it is just a general rule...

you can create a new cheracter on a more populated server, and check the prices. if you like it, delete your new cheracter and transfer the main one to that server.

Outside of transferring have you tried the resource converter that you buy from your faction? Usually just spending 2k tokens for 20 common converters works for me. I haven't had the need to buy any refining agents and all my crafting is 150+. Make a run through a low level area grabbing the chests. When done I usually convert the ones I am not working on at the moment to the ones I need.

The gold tax generally costs just as much as the item on my server.

I've been running through low level areas with the map tracker site open gathering resources from like the 2 villages outside FL and the starstone temple area but man is it time consuming. I'd rather do something more productive like run Outpost rush and spend the gold on resources but my server is so dead it can take nearly an hour just to get the minimum 32 people to queue for it. the more populated servers might be the way to go unfortunately.

When you reach endgame, you need to be using T5 reagents, and that thing is damn exspensive. also have you need seen the huge tax on conversion? it's better to just buy the reagent you need.
