I am not going to stop using a weapon I have used for 150 hours and put 20 points and gear towards, because they introduced a bug. That's ridiculous.
Same with Great Axe . its got a speed run buff bug . Im thinking of stopping using that to use just musket but that has speed run buff bug too . Apparently something is wrong with fire staff. Light Staff is kinda nerfed because crouching doesnt heal anymore .
Maybe Spear is safe to use ?
Maybe bare hands? Although I am sure that has a bug also.
They really need to hire some people and put together a proper Q&A team.
There's really no reason for a company to bring out game patches without properly testing them before putting them on a live server...
I think the bug they fixed was game breaking . Invulnerability . Vs you doing a bit more damage . I think the fix is temporary till they find a better solution
But the invulnerability bug is not related to the hatchet. So why would it affect the hatchet, but not other weapons?
Looks to me like they did more than just fix bugs.
It's not just a bit more damage either. It's highly overpowering, especially in PVP situations.
2000 damage per hit without buffs or skills on a level 49 hatchet is a lot.
Other players do not have a chance, level 55 mobs get 3 hit.
I'm sure no one is going to go after you for playing through normally.
Playing with a hatchet isn't the issue here. Big difference between doing something like playing through a game using the normal mechanics, bug or not, even if it gives you an advantage. The problem was the wise guy splaying this out they for everyone just because he hates the game. This is his "pay back" and middle finger to NW because it makes him sad.
Big difference between playing normal and actively going after a buggy issue just because it gives you the advantage.
No one's telling you not to. Not the problem here.
I dont hate the game, I enjoy it, but these game breaking bugs will surely kill the player base if they dont do anything about it. Ppl jumping over Ice Spikes, Fire Staffs firing twice the rate, hatchets dealing massive ammounts of dmg, only to mention a few game breaking bugs ppl r exploiting in PvP right now. It isnt an optional exploitation if you're in a guild fighting daily offensive and defensive wars, like us... If they dont fix their ♥♥♥♥ quickly only exploiters will keep on playing.
I think wires got crossed, Crow. Wasn't referring to you. Just the OP I get what you're saying and I agree. The bugs are endlessly frustrating. Having to keep refreshing the AH so you don't buy the wrong thing is a prime example. It's a mess for sure.
Simple as that.
Not picking what up? I have 20 points in the hatchet skill tree, and gear towards the hatchet build.
Why should I switch to something else or respec to work around a bug they introduced?
That's not the way this works. They have to learn to test their patches before releasing them on a live server. As far as I know nobody asked for them to work on the hatchet skills. For some reason they messed it up. That's on them, not on me.
