You're the problem, its a full priced game and customization and creation are 50% of the game for me and my immersion. So take your micros and go back to mobile gaming good sir.
The problem is when the micro transactions are " Buy these costume tokens. They allows you to change your look " Or when it is " Buy this to speed up things." Buying things that are extra and do not help or hurt the game are not the problem. Artist need to make money too.

It is an issue though, if they deliberately plan the gear that you can get in game to look bad... that is a no go.
If I had to rate gear look from 1 to 10 I would rate it like this:
Leleving look (NPCs throw it after you): 1-5
endgame look(only it in-game for hard achievments and thakes moderate time): 6-8
microtransaction look (you can buy it for IRL money): 6-9
Legendary look(only get it in-game for achievments that are very hard to do and take time): 10
If they would do something like this with cosmetic microtransactions then I would't mind.
EDIT: also, they should't cost more than 8$ for a set... If it is 20$ for just 1 weapon cosmetic, than that is also a fail...
EDIT2: also they have to be account bound... :) No selling for in-game money...
I wish they stayed in mobile gaming. But the mobile gaming model makes so much money that they apply it to pc games.Ever since horse armor dlc i hate micro transaction. At the time they said "if you dont like it dont buy it".The problem with that statement is so many people did buy it that it changed gaming for the worse. We even have dlc before a game is even released.
These days I do accept micro transactions are here to stay, but lets keep it just to cosmetics.Any pay to win crap destroys a game.
You are the problem, i cant believe you came up with your own little graph to justify BS too.
