Banned for the name "Goymer"

Story time,

I've never had a poor interaction with anyone in this game. I was harvesting hemp, hadn't said a thing in chat that day, they go into maintenence, and when it comes back up, banned for offensive name.

Could someone please tell me what's so offensive about 'Goymer' that I had to get banned for 24 hours.

Another person had the name "High King" and was banned, while names that include "h3ntai" are permissible.

Not to mention, they will have 500+ reply discussion threads about creating LGBTQ servers, yet several people attempted to make christian groups (you know, we want to play with like-minded people, just like the LGTB people), and those posts were immediately removed.

Tell me how it's not discrimination against a religious group when LGBTQ can create a community through the developers forum, but we can't post and organize the same way, and our posts are actively removed.

Absolutely ridiculous bigotry to allow one community on your platform and let them organize themselves however they please, but if you belong to another group that doesn't conform to their ideals, no sirree you can't have your own "safe space", even if you're not technically doing anything that goes against their guidelines.

I just want to play the game, but the political atmosphere seeps into the moderators and players decision when banning or reporting players, cultivating a community more toxic than league of legends.

No amount of updates will fix this, just keep your mouth shut, and think of the most mundane name possible to avoid the ban system.

Edit: I can google any name in the urban dictionary and come up with a slur for it... kyle is in the urban dictionary as something offensive. Should people with 'kyle' in their name be banned?

If they're going to ban people for offensive names, it should just make me change my name, or at least give me a list of terms that aren't acceptable. I can't play today only because my completely original name included 3 letters they didn't like next to eachother, and is apparently an offensive term.

At least read the TOS/EULA documents that were agreed to before complaining.

I have an easier solution for this : Don't waste your time on this resource farming sim and go play any other mmo as there's a lot of them. This game isn't worth it anyway and it's already on a steady decline which is going to continue until all who will be left there is professional victims or people who never chat.

It is strange. Personally, I feel your name would be offensive if it wasn't a real last name but a combination of "goy" and "gamer", the former being a slur. Well anyway, it is really absurd how they determine which name is and is not offensive.

assumed because what the name means in translation , but i think its more of people not knowing what the name means fail. Because its not a slur it just means god.

Oh, not even google is helping me out here. Apparently there's some people with that last name, no idea if it's actually a "bad word" in some other language. I just assumed it was because of the "goy" part, which is indeed a slur.

It doesn't matter. The system is automated. If the word, or some variation of it shows up? Ban incoming. No use complaining about it. Just don't do that.

Who is goy a slur for???? I've never heard that term before.
