The US Military was segregated and actually pretty racist at the time.
Blacks only served in supply units such as "Red Ball express".
US military only desegregated by Vietnam War.
Also, this doesn't explain the Black Germans inside the game.
It's a videogame, that doesn't mean people won't complain, just like films.
