Taunt gem clarification

Ok, the taunt gems. Is the threat added on top of the taunt or do you generate extra threat passively along with taunts being activated. The way it's worded makes it seem like you just generate more threat passively.

Yeah the only indicator is the way the tooltip is worded. Still hardly helps since heals generate an astronomical amount of threat.

I'd personally like to see the "taunted" icon to stay up as long as you have threat on a target, it would really help with keeping track of errant mobs.

The health bar glows red when you have threat. It's not the clearest indicator of threat that I've seen, but having it be different to the taunt status is a good thing.
