And since there is no guaranteed prices on any NPC merchants, it is entirely up to the people.
Best way I have found is to go to the market and select all markets, then check the lowest price
quote from OP : 'On my server there isn't a single one for sale at any town. '
ofc you need take a good look before doing that. Already seen people do the same trick as in WoW.
they put an item up for WAY less than it's supposed to be and hope people put it up without changing the price.
also with how random tools, weapons and armor can be with gearscore, attributes and stats, there is no "real" price for any of those.
legendaries can go for a lot, or nothing at all. it really depends on the gearscore and stats.
I only sell Blue Quality Wepaons and Armor I find through the world.
If it has META Stats (ex: Str/Con or both on a Great Axe)
then i'll sell it for about 150 - 300 Gold Each.
If it has OFF META Stats (ex: Focus on a Warhammer for those niche Paladin Builds)
then i'll sell it for 75-150 Gold Each.
If it has WTF IS THIS ♥♥♥♥ Stats (ex: Strength on a Fire Staff...what?)
then i'll sell it for about 50 Gold Each and hope someone can make some use of it.
I only list for 3 Days at a time. If something doesn't sell, i'll lower the price a bit and relist until it does.
