No main quest at level 29

I'm trying to get the Azoth staff tier 1 and I'm already level 29 but I dont have any main quests, tried going to the Hermit guy but he has no quests either, and my map is only full of side quests.
At level 20 it unlocks a quest called "Forge The Staff" but you have to finish other main quests before you get that, but I have no main quests

Help.

there should be always a quest in your "main story" section even if your level isn't enough. not sure you can abandon main quest. but if you missclicked it you can search for main storyline quests and questgivers.

When I press J and go to the "Main Story" tab there's absolutely nothing there

I'm trying to accept all quests on the map but they seem to all be just side quests

I'm in the same situation as you！Same experience, no main quest to do now。I'm going to give it a try and make a level 25 copy of "Forge The Staff"and see if The main quest appears！

I found out that you have to go talk to the lady at Daughterwell (NE of Castle Everfall) and she has the next main quest, hope it helps

You can see quests available to you by a lot of ways.

01 - Open your journal, you can track your quests there, every quest you completed, and you are currently doing is there to see.

02 - Search for the ARROW MARK on NPCs head, you can see in the map there's something like a diamond shape on the map, the yellow ones are quests that you can get to do, and the gray ones are the quests you need to get close there to do (green ones are completed ones just require you to get your reward)

03 - Did you do the tutorial quest in the beach? If you did, keep going this line because this is the main quest, you can see it in your journal, and you keep doing while you have level to do it, if you don't have level enough, you won't be able to do the main quest but you'll be able to track it anyways.

Something is clearly bugged for you because you will always have a main story quest, if there's no main story in your journal something is clearly busted

I can't find the woman you're talking about. I've been walking around the castle for hours without finding her! Daughterwell (NE of Castle Everfall)

Press k, click on attributes then select view leveling rewards.
Quest is called "Forge the staff" unlocked at level 20.

At the very bottom it says "Note: you must complete the proceeding main story quests before undertaking this quest"
