Its issue is the second anything moves the game has no clue where my shot is going. Sometimes i need to lead a shot, sometimes i need to keep the cursor on the body of the moving target, its like RNG.
I cannot imagine it being functional in most pvp situations due to the hitbox mystery.
I like it for PVE, its great to get a lead shot on a mob while pulling, but if it moves sideways....RNG....
I think it feels better than musket by a metric mile. In fact this game feels great using the bow hunting wildlife....like it is what this game was designed for....second you go into NPC mob PVE things stop making sense.
Go full dex or mostly dex with box, use spear/rapier/hatchet for melee and it all works.
Sadly once you use great axe and see how much better it works well....theres a reason everyone is GA or GH. Range just isnt very functional in game. Consider also friendlies can block your shots.
Yeah, possibly a longbow, English style...
there is no such thing is right build in this game, only 20 skills you can pick and 20 levels, also putting points into relevent stat is not really a build
are the headshots any better then a musket ?
Don't sleep on Life Staff. I use Life Staff with all points in Focus and that Strong Attack CHUNKS some players.
Throw a healing circle at your feet and turret them down.
if they break social distancing then pull out the hammer and bonk them.
Example:
I used Cut Flawed Amber in my Ice Gauntlet that gives me "Arboreal I: 20% of damage is converted to Nature. Damage scales off base weapon stat or FOC, wichever is higher"
Thanks to this my Ice Gauntlet can hit a little harder, but just a little.
Yet, it is very important for healers cuz Life(less) Staff has no AoE Dmg skill.
STILL, it is better than nothing.
