At this point, based on Steam's refusal to take responsibility for the issue they caused and telling me to contact Amazon I'm wondering that myself. I figure I will give them 24 hours before I request a refund and just go buy the game directly from Amazon - it will suck to have to start over, but Steam's response to their update breaking a game that worked fine a few hours ago is really very shady.
This let me launch the game but it will not let you log onto your server.
If you buy from Amazon, they will give you a key to unlock the game on Steam. Wonder how long the finger pointing contest between Steam and Amazon will be. I want to play :(
