About the 3090 Failures.
I know the trolls will keep saying, New World isn't doing anything. They say Jay is a shill and a sell out etc etc.

This is Buildzoid. If you doubt him? Mercy on your souls lol

This is disturbing for one reason. Gigabyte follows the reference design with beefier parts though. Meaning any cards that follow Nvidias reference design, could either be flawed in design, or be damaged.

For further information for those that are tech savvy.

More in depth explanation.

1. New World isnt at fault
2. Jay is a clown
3. Did you understand the video from Buildzoid and his conclusion? I guess not.......

And Gigabyte put out an entire batch of faulty PSU's that catch fire, then denied it when called out by GamersNexus...

I used to respect his opinion..But no longer if he says New World is bricking GPUs. 3090s have a manufacturing defect. That is what is bricking those GPUs.

Oh, I am aware of that debacle. But this is still information that needs to be known for people who use these cards. Something is happening, that should not, only when in New World. That's not quite normal.

This video should be marked as an example of technical illiteracy...

What a clown....

I did understand his conclusion, and he admitted it does not make sense in the comments. That board in the video is an upgraded version of the Nvidia reference design.

"WOW I'm stupid the reference Nvidia PCB does allow a 10phase Vcore for the 3090. So yeah this is actually an Nvidia reference PCB with very slight upgrades."

A couple of bricked GPUS is normal. It happens all the time. I do not see this forum filled with complaints. Its very rare in NW. The ones that do fail are due to the manufacturing fault and maybe a few here and there from normal failure.

If it was only about failed GPUs, it would be other games that would make the same problems. But it also happens with NW.

It does not happen all the time. DOA's happen. Not several cards no longer working from a game that's no where near as demanding as say, Cyberpunk 2077, or using them for Deep Learning which pushes cards to their limit and have no issues.

GPUs do fail in other games. That doesn't make it the games fault. ... GPUS don't last forever

Yo must have not been gaming for very long. I have had 3 GPUs fail in my gaming experiences over the years. YOu think they work forever

I understood it completely. Once he saw it was based off the reference design, running 10 phase, he admits something isn't adding up and this should not be happening. I'm sorry you don't understand it, but you can discuss it with him in the their forums if you believe you know more then they do.
