RTX 2080 with 20 FPS

Anyone else is have fps problem ? I've install the game after the update 1.01 and try to change ALL graphics settings, reintall the game, disable v-sync/g-sync and the game still with 17~20 FPS.

Thats totally true, im trying to stay positive asf but really, many people report good performance and if you get a chance to check by yourself, it is awful performance in fact.

Usually people doesnt even measure fps, no idea of gpu temps (they only refer to the fans noise, lol) AND come to give lessons or flex their good functioning, albeit ancient, hardware. (Had gtx 970 for 6 years myself eh)

Yup i keep the steam fps counter up top right on my screen on all of my games barely noticeable and is handy for fine tuning your games,my keyboard has an oled display on it that displays my gpu and cpu temps,people spend a lot of their towers i never understood how they cant spend a bit of time and money on making sure they run well and last them awhile. i used to do a lot of pc repair work it always amazed me how poorly most people take care of their systems then complain when they dont run right or cook from them not cleaning them lol

That video suks, ultra long, and tries the most basic troubleshooting.

Maybe theres a useful tweak or two, idk, Im not gonna watch a long video to find a tip, that can be as easily written as:

Delete ags folder in appdata
Verify files
Change installation to same folder as steam is
Run EAC repair tool
Disable limit background frames
Clean dxcache
Set ipv4 instead of ipv6

And so on. Ive tried all those plus a good dozen more, and while I dont wanna jinx myself, Id say I fixed or mostly solved the huge stuttering. Cities still run at low fps.

Haha yea was also put out before the patch was out that screwed peoples games up in the first place.

Not initially, so its a good tip! As I was using the one from july, just two patches ago.

But when games like Avengers warned me about outdated drivers...I did! Updated to latest with DDU.

when updating new drivers choose custom then it will show a box giving a option to tick for clean install.

I was having lag after the patch until I saw that video and it solved my problem. When someone is offering help, at least give it a try. You don't have to discredit someone who is willing to give a helping hand.

Mhh is it installed correctly at the top slot of your pc?
And also: Are all Windows updates installed? And are you ahving gotten the latest drivers?
For beginners at drivers i recommend IOBIT Driver Booster. The free version.

Anyone solved it so far? I think I greatly improved it out of cities, have to confirm it. Will post the 12k tweaks I tried if im sure its ok now, xD

Latest drivers 472.12 and latest Nvidia experience, im getting 50fps on my 2080rtx and the 50 is because i have set it to 50 and underpowered(with MSI AB) it when i run this game.
