Server and Client version mismatch

I seem to be having an issue with connecting to the game server, the serve claims there is a client server mismatch and that I need to update my client from the launcher, however the client just updated and there is no further update. Anyone else having this issue, what's going on?

Restart steam an check for download

I found that if steam doesn't update the game by itself, then validating the files works

Had this problem as well just now. If you go into steams setting > downloads > clear download cache you can force steam to reasses your library for updates allowing the client to update.
