And here we go again. Changing your argument.
First your discussions was about Full PvP server. And now?
You are moot. Like any other PvP minority.
Enjoy being loud and insignificant.
Quite simple
One thing is to have a different opinion and being polite while discussing it.
Another thing is to call anyone who gives you their opinion "absent of any form of logic",
"nonsensical things","not relevant".
He is moot.
As are yours? All you do is claim they have no logic, but don’t defend your argument with logic… that’s why this thread is so funny.
New World has some good mix of PvP and PvE , game cant survive without both because thats how the game was made, with pvp being a core piece of territory / faction wars , You can go full time pvp as you can go full time pve, i see no need to add a FULL PVP server , game has so much to offer than just mindlessly ganking people , and if you DO want to gank people, go gank other faction pvpers and prevent them from scoring points in your faction territory or YOU could be scoring points in theirs? still dont like the idea? then pick some other PVP game that is not an mmorpg, simple as that.
They need full PvP servers for a few reasons.
1) You can't tell who on your team is flagged for PvP and who isn't.
2) People can body block you and troll when your trying to PvP someone
3) Not enough PvP
4) People who are un-flagged take your resource nodes and it's really frustrating
5) It's emersion breaking
6) Faction quests/gear/rewards make no sense as you can get the PvP gear from doing PvE, PvP servers would fix this fallacy.
7) Some kids get really mad when you kill them and unflag then try to kite mobs onto you.
8) Some kids get really mad when you kill them and follow you around with voice chat unflagged saying profanities
9) The systems do not reward PvP as much as it should resulting in people who enjoy PvP to avoid it in favour of min maxing.
10) Faction systems would immediately stop being weird and make sense.
2. This type of thing can happen in pve as well - body blocking shots. It’s a mechanic issue.
3. Personal opinion.
4. If they’re mining them, they aren’t your resources. Farm elsewhere.
5. What?
6. Even on a pvp server, you’d still be crafting gear since it’s not full loot. Makes no sense.
7. Some pvp’ers get mad you aren’t flagged so train mobs onto you.
8. See above. People are toxic when they get pissed off, it’s a human problem. Never gonna go away.
9. Personal opinion again.
10. It isn’t weird. It’s a dual system that promotes pvp without enforcing it. That’s just good planning.
Also, “We don't have plans for dedicated PvP servers at launch. The main issue is dividing dev and support requirements between slightly different versions of the game. Then we'd have to be really clear about what long term support would look like, since those PvP server players would expect game updates targeting their version of the game too but mapping to their top needs and wants, separate from how the majority of other players were playing NW.”
This doesn't make sense to me. I understand dividing dev team and support would be bad. But we literally want the same exact game that is there currently. We want nothing to change except you being auto flagged when you leave town after choosing a faction. Literally nothing else has to change.
The only other thing I could think of being a problem is if you already have plans in the works for PvP always on regions. Which nothing would need to change there either?
We do not need separate developer resources for these servers. Just force the flag on when people leave town. End of story.
1. You can't tell if your team mates are flagged or not which is important to PvP.
2. It's stupid is what it is.
3. It's not a personal opinion, it's an opinion, it's an opinion shared by many
4. I'm not an SJW
5. It makes no sense, you are at war with a faction but they go, wait, you can't kill me, I'm not flagged. How is that not emersion breaking? Like how is that hard to understand.
6. The PvP gear would be acquired while doing PvP if forced flagging was on for people who joined a faction
7. Another reason why PvP servers are needed.
8. It does go away if you have the option to kill them.
9. Not my personal opinion, I don't care about min-maxing, it's an argument I heard many people make.
10) It is weird, you join a PvP faction, to PvP, but don't have to PvP. It's like what lol.
emersion = the act to emerge, e.g. land mass emerges out of the sea
Immersion = to become completly involved into sth., e.g. a video game world
....just to clarify
Jesus I didn't realise I was dealing with a 10 year old, my bad.
Yeah you've stumbled upon the problem PvP players are having.
There is hardly anywhere to find fights. On my server in the beta, the north gate at Windsward became the unofficial spot to find PvP fights because it was so rare to find them out in the wild.
