New World & Addons

Quick question: Will New World support addons such as DPS meters, etc? I personally hope not but would like to know if there was a statement by Amazon or so.

Addons make ppl QQ in the end and they leave in droves, feeling 'hard done to'.

Just to make clear, I do not want addons either :)

I could not find any statement from Amazon on this topic online hence the question hihi :D

I hope there are no plans to accommodate add-ons.

I'd like some of the functionality of popular addons that are often made in MMOs incorporated into the game in general rather than player made. Being able to look at what is in your stash in different towns, for instance (if it's not already a thing) and monitoring prices/historic data of prices on the trading house. Just quality of life stuff.

It sounds to me like most of the problems in this thread are caused by people, not by some bits of code. People will just find another way to be toxic to one another even without DPS meters.

Seems a bit silly to blame problems we humans have had at least as long as there has been written records on video game addons.

Good news folks! If you don't want addon's then don't use them. Have some control you slobbering nut jobs. Addons can improve gameplay and no one forces you to use any of them.

If there are no addons , let use allow to move some ui elements , for example i use ultra wide screen but i'm playing healer and my party frames is like on the otherside of the world for me :D

They are too busy at the moment banning people for saying differing opinions from the CRT narrative that lots of conglomerates are toting

I will say there Auction House could use a lot of improvements to its UI.

I agree, I was just banned for "abusive language" and the most that I've said in chat is "LFG for..." - Because I talk in voice in disc, I don't use game chat unless I absolutely have to... like to find a group for something LOL! But apparently "LFG for Amrine/Starstone" in chat is bannable... SMH!
