Yeah, I haven't played the game but my Suspicion Meter went off when she said that a computer with a Ryzen7 and GTX 3060 Ti and 240 Hz monitor was "cheap." The rest of the review did indeed read like an elaborate troll attempt.
6 or 7/10 troll review I'd say - quite layered and lots of commitment. Calling it a "Pentium 0286" was quite nuanced, especially equating a CPU to an entire computer system (Commodore 64). Ultimately it wasn't too humorous or outrageous though. I suggest the OP search for a better audience.
Oh look what I found in my closet : https://i.ibb.co/XsjwLDH/wing.png
That's Ultima Online which I bought on launch in 1997 along with Wing Commander, the critically aclaimed game that was directed by the new director of Star Citizen. If I were to go thru my basement I am sure to find many gems of the best in its release edition package. So Ultima Online and Lineage 1 were the first mmo's I played.
Which games where they played on? This one : https://i.ibb.co/WvpnM1V/dal.png
That's a Pentium MX with Windows 95 and a 33.3bps modem. It was upgraded from a Compaq Presario 0486 with a 14.4 bps modem, which again was upgraded from the older 0286 i had.
I do distinctively recall that computers were referred to as their microchip back in the late 80s and 90s.
When someone asked what computer you had people would just say "a pentium mx" or "a 0486" etc. Back then the processor was the indicator of the computers overall power, before dedicated graphics cards was a thing.
That was until the entry of the Quake/Unreal series and more power was required and 3dfx voodoo graphics cards became the staple for every computer.
None of this is "trolling". I am sharing my vast knowledge which like I said extend far far back from the earliest inceptions of the internet and gaming history, I was there.
I was there on DALnet, EFnet, Undernet with my 14.4bps modem when they opened their IRC servers. I was mainly found in gaming channels. For youngsters they probably dont even know what IRC is, but it was a primitive version of Discord.
Do you know who came up with the meme "kthxbai" ? Me. I was a super operator of a channel called "#KualaLumpur" and I registered that malaysians used "kthx" for "alright thank you" and "bai" for "bye". So i started using those terms outside the that malaysian channel and in more international channels, and a group of people from a "certain environment" picked it up, it went viral and is still used to this day by the young kids which I once was back then when I made that term viral.
But I am too old to use kthxbai now, it is nothing but a mere blast from my past , my tender youth. But I relish in my memories of what has once been but is no more.
Isn't every review in the end a subjective thing. Even If you are oriented by facts your post still got that "I love the game so far" vibe, wich is okay.
Reading your post points out many good things about it and few bad, one bad. I did explain in my first post why there might be some other flaws coming with the game.
Your + PVP toughts are my - PVP toughts
now who desides whats right, I gues it's up to every single one of us, not you alone.
