to answer your question though, you can use skins to influence the outcome of combat actually, its simple enough, you equip heavy armour, apply light armour skins to it, and then laugh at the people that who attack you expecting a squishy target. works the other way around too with them expecting a target that cant dodge well.
you'll be able to buy it...and use it to travel fast and improve your crafting output...
that is literally p2w. explain how paying money for that advantage is not p2w?
