Fishing Hotspots bugged?

Are fishing hotspots still bugged, I've gone to a few but have yet to see the fish jumping animation.

Might be bugged, I saw them a lot at first.. Then after I started using the settings from Nvidia experience they all disappeared, I havent seen a single hotspot in days and others say they see them.. and I dont even see the bubbles..

My assumption is that the hot spots have X amount of fish in them and if there are a lot of people in that spot then the hot spot depletes faster. Just a guess tho.

The water disturbance let's you know they are there and yeah that can disappear but the hotspot is still there after someone finds it until they fish it out.

I was at 70-80 fishing in beta and sometimes you just walk up and there they are while other times they are really hard to find.

I've even found one just ending and caught a couple so Maybe there is a timer on them as well.

they are working. its just fished out. it will respawn. I sat on oneall by myself today that respawned 3 times in two hours. non stop rares and greens. 4 blue treasure chests.

working for you doesnt mean it's not bugged for someone else

This was an issue during the closed beta as well, the actual hot spot (the circle/whirlpool) didn't show so you had no clue where it was to cast in, and I seem to be having the same bug, I have yet to see one.

The temporary fix was to log out and back in at the spot, but that isn't exactly possible for most right now unless they want put back into a queue.

The display of the hot spot has to have visable fish jumping, just the white water circle means its there but out of fish.

Not sure they cycle time on the hot spot. Most hot spots have just too many people hitting it to even bother pulling out the fishing pole.

Ive found a few hot spots in the wild (wish there was more) and fished them out myself, it doesnt take much to clean it out. Most seem to be near towns and super packed however.

That's the issue, some can't even see the white water circle to begin with.

Not 100% but it seems like items respawn for people at different rates.
My wife and I play together most of the time and there's been many instances where a resource respawns for one of us but the other cannot see it.
She's even ran up and over an iron node while I was mining it (on my screen) and her screen showed nothing, just ran through an empty area.

Which shows that nodes can be bugged for an individual without impact to the node itself or for others

Probably a daft question, but have you checked other hot spots as that one usually has high traffic so logging out and in may not help.

i find them here and there, when the fish are jumping they are worth fishing, if it's just a ring then they have been fished out

Sometimes the animation gets bugged. What I do is just try fishing and if it doesn't say Hotspot Hit or whatever then it's exhausted and you'll have to wait for it to come back up. Really wish the whole hotspot altogether would just disappear until it's back up though instead of just trying to see the fish jumping out.

this too, plus i tend to get a notification saying"broad fishing spot" or something when i'm close to them.
