Is this game better than FFXIV or WoW?

Why comparing each other...
New World is a total diffrent game with a lot diffrent aspects... for me everything is better than wow xD but that's only my own opinion. (after 13 years theres no fun left in wow)
I like New World. I like the graphic, the crafting and the system with the factions. Sure there are some things that could be better... but it's a new game and a fresh release... every MMO needs some time to make things better. We should give them a chance.

It's not better or worse, it's just different especially the combat. I think you can enjoy all three games. For me I stick with FF14 but I can see why people like New World.

i am not sure. its very pvp weighted and i am not sure how i feel about that yet. everyone gets super serious and stressed out because the other faction is more powerful. at the moment if you are stupid enough to put pvp flag on you will get ganked by players waiting at newbie mission areas

Better than FFXIV for sure but I dont like that for other reasons haha..

But this is no replacement for WOW and you will be disappointed if you come into it expecting it to be..

WoW > NW > FF. New World actually have some aspects that we saw in golden era WoW. Meanwhile FF has no aspect that makes MMORPG great. Can't even parse without getting flamed at.

FFXIV...didn't like..but not a fan of balloon bunnies and the like...played for a year....WoW I played since 2007...they broke my heart and DESTROYED pvp...

it is really different only that it has no subscription and the entire gameplay is pvp / dungeons among other things

Hell no, this is what WoW was when it was in vanilla.

No, but also yes. This game offers a very different experience compared to WoW and FFXIV when it comes to combat and exploration. And for me the sense of exploration is what I love about this game.. however as a whole package I wouldn't play this over WoW or FFXIV unless I was bored with those games like I am now.

Basically a great side MMO to play, but won't keep me away from FFXIV when the new expansion drops.

its more like conan exile... it cannot be compared to any of the other two games.
it is very farm and pvp heavy.

Also keep in mind that comparing them is a bit unfair since it has just come out and its content is poor compare those two greats with their expansions
