Weather isn't dynamic, it's tied to regions. There is a day and night cycle though.

Day night yes. Weather yes, but not dynamic. It's on a cycle per region.

not hard to add dynamic weather, indie devs add dynamic weather so a billion dollar company should add it also. mmo's are also about immersion, not just cutting trees.

IIRC - the sun rises NE, daytime lasts 1.5 hours, sets SW, night lasts 1 hour.
The moon is fixed full at NNE.
