No offense but THESE comments are....kind of toxic. My advice, just play and enjoy. Either take part in streaming events, or don't and just ignore them. If things are being disrupted on a server I am sure that it will be dealt with. Naming and shaming just makes you look bad though instead of them, truly. I personally don't care about streaming, unless I am participating in a guide or such, something specific like that or Extra Life, else I don't care what the streamers are doing. I am mostly there to enjoy the game and have fun, all the other side hijinx is just that, SIDE. ;) Enjoy your game! :D

Eh, thing is if this guy joins Valhalla or Olympus, he may be in for a weird time.

I have the same name as a twitch guy with 1.7 million followers who plays on valhalla he better hope he beats my load time which is pretty quick

Honestly, I haven't seen the hype on NW. Valheim had more paid hype then NW. One of them was Cohcarnage. Literally called it the best game he ever played. I found that statement to be silly. No hype around New World from streamers.

Germans only get two Ger/En Servers, we have no escape and the biggest streamers will then maybe ruin the servers with their followers.
Maybe they ruin both this way throwing people out and make them quit or sth by factionimbalance or whatever will happen.
Some streamers have formed great communities, others have a community that is based on their own bad onstream behavior.

Plenty of issues that streamers are able to directly cause, such as breaking servers with events, trolling, griefing...
Refunds too, yes.

Currently i can only guess on past experiences and ill check out how bad the impact will be on my gameplay.
I mean on the other hand streamer lifes are not easy either, streamsniping and ganksquads that hunt 24/7 while their only goal is to push the streamer entirely off a game can also happen.
But thats what streamers have chosen with their jobs, its not all alice in wonderland.

Streaming can be great advertisement for games but it can also longterm damage the product and add insane extra work to not throw normal customers out.
Like cheaters in battle royale games that hunt streamers, imagine geting into these games because of pressing the queue button at the same time while not even watching the stream...bg go next.

Anyways we will see, hopefuly "german" servers will be swarmed till they crash because 2 servers for switzerland, germany and austria is a damn joke.
So we can just go to the third server and not deal with it.

Im currently way more worried about the impact of amazon prime, theyll most likely use it to add more values into it and hence print money, the game runs at risk of not beeing a neutral game anymore. I wish i could ignore all these potential problems and just not think about any of them.

How many people are max on one server? is it 1000 , 1500 or 2000 ?

Anyway, thats why i love riding solo at the start.

I can choose whatever i want dont need to follow the sheep herd on discord or guild leaders <3.

and later on i can just find a quality guild in game that simply plays on my server.

Being on the same server as famous streamers really is just a disadvantage in this game imo. LOL

What is offensive? The fact that Asmongold has a gang of mongrels chasing him around lagging the server and causing mayhem ruining player experience? That is toxic to avoid? Leave the post and mind your business. This is for those that don't want the chaos that comes from streamers. Shows how little you know.

I sure hope myassisgold isn't going to be playing this game.... he ranted about how awful it was
