the hp pool of the enemies became exponentially high and our weapons are barely doing any damage even to small fighters. also not helping that heavy fighters attack are homing and there's so many of them.
But the game uses "steam services" so it can never be down....
Yea... don't ever bet on being able to use the game if the devs even hiccup let alone abandon the game.
My point being: don't let anyone you know buy the game until the devs simply fix their game.... they could've easily programmed the game from the start with player hosted games like 1,000 other games both much bigger and much smaller in terms of dev teams.
Simply the devs horrible choice and the only possible reason is because they are TERRIFIED of piracy even though all evidence points to the fact they would make the same amount of money anyway.
Just gonna say it right here, just because it's an issue to you doesn't make it an issue to everyone else. I would argue that there isn't really a foundation to argue that this is all in an effort to prevent piracy, there could be other reasons, potentially related to the unlock and progression system.
Ya jus saying random things without really thinking.
Feels like a kill screen.
Maybe i'll just run from the start and just avoid combat, next time i get to wave 6
We have the same experience. Any sense of realism is diminished by this new difficulty scaling involving MMORPG-esque leveling. If it ever came to a vote, I'd support scaling of enemies in numbers, not in stats.
Yea even in the normal mode the enemy damage just scales up too high. They nerfed shields awhile back apparently too and just left them to be useless. There's a mod though that makes shields actually block all incoming damage though until they break, but even with that mod if the enemy damage just keeps scaling higher any sort of hit on the ship is going to be a death sentence.
The laziest way to create difficulty in games is just making the enemies into bullet sponges and making them hit harder, good developers find more interesting ways to create difficulty.
Currently in Void Crew our ship progression caps out fairly quickly, but the enemy's doesn't.
Agreed. I'm just about to open a new topic on this, with some suggestions.
Usually though its the wave of Heavy Fighters with their guided direct fire shots that rip us up. If you get them at level 6 or 7 a single hit will take about 60% of your hull... and when there are 12 of them in a close group its a little hard to take only ONE hit.
Those things need a nerf badly.
There are tiny violins playing for you over there, go enjoy the concert.
