Im done With this game

Just spent three hours solo to have my internet hiccup and get disconnected and to lose all progress and get no rewards for what ive already completed i refuse to waste my time on a game that doesnt care about my time i invest into theres

Sounds like an internet issue. Sad to see you go, but it'd be more productive to ask the devs to focus on increasing server stability. Otherwise, play multiplayer, you can rejoin your session at least.

Hey man idk what happened in your case here, but the game saves your progress and collected crates after every jump. if this had of happened like 2 months ago i would agree with you (it was such a huge problem tbh). Ever since the full release of the game, and i think the 0.5 version just before, it should pop up after every jump with a banner across the top of the screen saying MISSION ACOMPLISHED with the rewards below it.

Could be but not necessarlly. As much as I love Void Crew, it would be wrong to not acknowledge the server instabilities with this game.

Are you sure you got no rewards? I had the exact same thing happen to me yesterday with it claiming i had 500 ping and while i thought i had no rewards and lost everything when i started up this morning i had a bunch of unapplied levels and unopened loot boxes.

Photon is sadly unreliable, and losing connection to your own game is an unfortunate side effect. You should still be able to keep your earned rewards (XP, lootboxes), however you won't see the tally screen for them.

Seeing as you are/were playing solo, I'd like to mention there is a mod which puts photon into "Offline" mode. You'll still need an internet connection for steam and unity services, but the mod will stop those disconnects with no change to gameplay. https://thunderstore.io/c/void-crew/p/VoidCrewModdingTeam/Offline_Mode/

Profiles are saved to and loaded from the Unity cloud, and the game will block you from going beyond a black screen with text saying you cannot connect to their Services if it cannot authenticate with Unity and Steam.

There is a local save system, though I do not know how it works in conjunction with the cloud save system in the event of conflicting savedata.
