Is this a remake of the older castle of pixel skulls from around 2011? Are you the original dev?

1. I cant get the achievements. Am I doing something wrong? I beat level 1 and 2 without dying, even tried resetting the game but i didn't get anything. 2. This is different from the original castle of pixel skulls. Will we ever get the original? This one seems to have less levels, it also plays a lot slower. The menu's take a long time to reset or start levels, so every time you restart is painfully slow. That said i still adore this game. I would love to see more of the original or the gameplay/speed of...
