Do pearls respawn?

unless you destroy them! if you just harvest the pearl then yes they do.

They're in all oceans.

I tend to mark them on my map as I find them so I can always find them if I need/want more of them.

Is marking really necessary? The spawns seem abundant and easy to find towards the edges of the oceans. I just zoom across with the jet ski and see the glimmer under water very often.

It seems if i started marking them my ocean would be dotted with marks everywhere (assuming there isn't marks-per map limit in this game).

If you plan on doing land reclamation to build something in the ocean, it helps to know where the areas the clams aren't.

Even if your water is marked by dots, why would it matter? It's the ocean, it's not like there's anything else out there that you're trying to see.

Yep, they do. In the same spot. So make sure to mark them on your map when you find them.
