Making a triple split joint?

I swear I heard this was possible, but I can't figure out how to do it. any help?

It may only be possible on levels which have the hydraulic step control panel. That's because on that panel there is a check box to allow the triple split.

It actually seems to turn every joint on the level into a triple split, rather than just specific ones only.

3-Way Split Joints are only possible on levels with a Hydraulic Controller.

When you open the Hydraulic Controller there is a "3-Way Split Joints" checkbox that needs to be selected to make new 3-Way Split Joints. Selecting this doesn't change anything in the level, it just allows 3-Way Split Joints to be made (which you do by cycling one or more of the split joint numbers to 3).

Thanks for the help, I was trying to use it for the level Crossed Paths. Which does have it. I couldn't figure it out, thanks so much!
