If, however, this whole premise makes you too anxious and you feel that might take away from the experience of the game, we do indeed recommend you play with Explorer Mode on, which makes the timer not an issue, at least on a first playthrough.
I was having the same thoughts but then I gave it a try on Explorer Mode with ONLY the slow down option activated and I thoroughly enjoyed it. You still have that time limit but you don't really have to worry about it. I got like 95%-ish completion and I still got plenty of time left.
If you enjoyed the demo, go for it, it's a great game IMHO.

So you shouldnt be worried about having to finish this game in a rush.
