District Range Limits?
I was building a dam up river and ran into issues where it won't let me build that far out. I tried relocating my district center and pathing further up but it's like I've hit a hard limit. I just updated to version 6 experimental and even used dev mode to remove some resources so I can path further out and yet the district border remains stuck. Also tried breaking away the paths from my main district and putting down a second district center but even when I do that I have the same border its like nothing will expand. Is there something I am missing? I thought he removed district size limits in the last update or do I need to change some game settings somewhere to allow me to build anywhere without restrictions?

Hi,
Since the U4 , there is no more limit for the range of a district, only a good well-being increase the speed and the work-time of the beavers ...
Are you sure than you are playing on the experimental version 6 ?
On which map are you playing ? and also you must have somes bad water sources on your map ...

Hi, can you post a screenshot of the entire district and the problematic area? The build area relies on the roads, so they need to be extended out to reach certain areas, perhaps there's a road missing on a platform? If you click on your District Center you should see lines on top of roads, it's a useful tool for spotting such errors.

Love the dev popping in to be helpful when there's absolutely no expectation that they do so. Being the change you want to see is top tier ♥♥♥♥.

As you can see I placed paths up this hill and was attempting to dam the river near the top and the game was telling me I could not build because it was out of range of the district. I also could not remove blueberry bushes. The blue border would not expand farther when I selected the district. I moved it closer and the borders stayed the same. I finally gave up and used developer mode to force the completion of the build... At this point I did end up putting another district nearby on the other side and it did expand correctly for the new district but I thought it was odd that it was imposing distance limitations on where I could build.

I am definitely on experimental version 6. I went into steam properties and under betas selected that version then migrated my save files over to the new save folder. I have 3d water too.

I noticed the line in the paths turn from green to yellow and eventually red which I'm assuming is illustrating that the farther away the less efficient the beaver because of travel distance but I also notice the blue border hits a hard cap which forces you to put down another district making one mega district not possible?

In https://imgur.com/7UFqZLW you are missing a connecting bit of path on top of the 1x1 platform by the two sets of stairs.

You're right! I can't believe I missed that.

Yep, definitely no hard cap.
