Sluice
I love these very useful but with that said. They should have a option for upstream as well as down stream.

just turn the sluice around it will then do upstream depth

how does the sluice water detection work? if I leave it on close above contamination 5%, is it reading water going through it or only contamination in the blue detection area? are they one way only?

What is a 'sluice'. This item does not exist in the official WIKI.

Okay, I figured it out. I placed some of the sluices on the bottom of a Dam I created, but I can't figure out how the options for them work. I think I need a video to explain it.

yes. having them detect upstream water levels would allow to drain water reservoirs so they dont overflow.

Easy solution to that is to build a floodgate on top of the sluice. The floodgate lets water through when upstream is too high and the sluice lets water through when the downstream is too low.
