Timberborn

stutter while camera panning
I've been trying to narrow down the cause of this stutter when camera panning around the map, and can't seem to fix it. I've tried disabling mods, disabling gsync, etc. Nothing seems to affect it. The fps does not dip, constant 172 when panning when paused.

However, there are these minor stutters that are particularly jarring for me because everything else is so smooth. Does not seem to pause the beavers when unpaused, meaning its a graphical bug not a gameplay slowdown at all.

I'm guessing it just might be a memory graphics thing or something where when camera panning around the map its like a slight micro load of graphics or something. Just wondering if its a problem I can fix or its something I'll have to live with...

The only reason I bring it up is because panning the camera around the map is a very big part of the game, when you have multiple districts and lots going on.

Thanks, great game!

Hi, could you send us your logs and save file by following this guide, so we can investigate? https://steamcommunity.com/app/1062090/discussions/2/3110269213859735252

It would be helpful if you could attach a recording of the stuttering as well.

Whats the refresh rate of your monitor? Try Vsync? or if its on turn off. Cap your FPS in nvidia app to 2 FPS below monitor refresh.

I have tried all the vsync and gysnc things. I always am limiting the hz 3 lower via RTSS. My monitor is 175 and everything is set to 172. It's a very minor stutter, just one I was hoping to remove. I have a video of it... maybe I'll try to post it in the discord.
