Why doesn't Iron Teeth have a 3 tier pile?
This is serious discrimination.
Iron Teeth needs a building corresponding to Folktail's Underground Pile.

I kind of agree with you that a 3rd tier stacking storage would be a nice addition. It should still be significantly smaller than the Folktail's version though, as that is one of the unique features of the faction that makes it worth playing over Iron Teeth.

Put 10 large storages on top of each other :-)

That's because of the attempt to make factions unique and distinguishable. Unfortunately, it feels like they cut the other faction's potential on purpose for that. That's the storage on the side of the Iron Teeth, and power on the one of the Folktails (for the most part).

It could be that they try to find another ways of establishing a faction's individualization, the new mud pit could be a hint. It's basically the same as the mud bath, but it works differently

There is a storage mod available, it gives you more flexibility for the Iron Teeth.

The Folktail underground storage has also a weakness: It has to be built on solid ground and that is (so far) limited. I am curious, how the devs will solve this with the new 3D terrain! How many layers of dirt will the storage need have enough underground space?
There is a mod that offers 1x2 storages and also a humungous semi-underground storage which is very useful, especially for dirt.

and Folktails need coffee.
The devs love the Ironteeth, the power generation options and coffee tell us this.

what's special about coffee? just seems to be +3 wellbeing food that has a low priority to be consuemd.

It's not grouped with the other food in the storage overview. It's working material. To see that made me smile a bit. 😉
