This is one of the best games I've played. Perhaps, we could see some new factions joining the drought?. Maybe implementing them as dlcs?

People been asking for years with tons of ideas as to what they might be. I would really like this as opposed to all iterations of delete techs / add techs / repeat that have been going on.

Over the years they've done a lot to give FT and IT their distinct identity. Right now when they're designing a feature, they need to think what would be those two factions' take on it.

DLC indeed seems like the best approach for a new faction, because creating it from scratch would be a lot of work, but furthermore the kind of work best undertaken when all the core features and mechanics are set in stone. Because, at this point, a third faction would need A LOT of stuff. What do beavers eat? How do they rest? What are their unique techs? What is their wonder? What is there means of advanced transportation? I wouldn't be surprised if this "to-do list" only grows by the time the game releases.

A bad water drinking/using faction?
Sort of like a 50's B movie, transformed by all the pollution from hooms. very bad at food but a form of bad water hydrotech so later game advantages.

Any other suggestions? Just for the fun of it.
