Please improve the injury system - or maybe get rid of it?
Not a big fan of how injuries work. You can't tell what's causing them, and the only thing you can do about them is to create a bunch of beds.

At the very least, show their former workplace so I can decide whether I can shut it down, or if it's the late game - assign bots to it. I shouldn't have to go find a wiki just to know which buildings are causing injuries.

It would be nice if it were a more fleshed out system, with more actionable decisions and more ways to deal with injuries.

Or . . . what gameplay purpose does it serve anyways? Do we need it? Can we perhaps get rid of it?

the rule of thumb is the more industrial a building looks, the worse the injury will be.
usually a big spike in injuries happens shortly after you build one of those buildings so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out what caused it.

problem with fleshing the system out is that you can only do so much without it becoming a bigger and more punishing game system that it is supposed to be.

e.g. in the past there was a medicine that sped up healing, but that never felt very fun or rewarding in terms of gameplay.

an advanced medical building that could heal the worst injuries faster would be a nice thing to have for people who don't like bots though.

Without injuries (and by extension, badwater poisoning) the game would be quite a bit more boring. The challenges would be "did you store enough food and water for this drought" repeated forever.

Not that it's much of a challenge really, more of a speed bump. Of the injury causers two are avoidable mostly (explosions and badwater), one is optional (bee stings from bee hives), and industrial accidents are a side effect of making goods.

I believe you can turn injury chance down or off in the custom game set up, I seem to remember reading about that in patch notes a while back.
Think it would be good if you could educate the beavers via the books to make them more skilled and less prone to injury but tbh once I get bots I just assign them to all industry and give my little beavers the simple jobs like farming and tree cutting this stops them all together
old(more experienced ) and happy beavers should have a injury evading buff.

There should be a way to speed up the process of healing. The former system was not that bad, maybe a bit isolated from other mechanics.

By the way it's not really plausible that they need a separate building once they're injured, they could easily stay in their baracks instead. Without a special treatment (like it has been before), it doesn't make sense.
Injuries can be a good motivator for filling industrial jobs with bots.

Hi,
If you don't think to use bots on a map , just put it at 10% or less in the custom mode..
If you think to use bots , keep it at 100 % ^^
