Game wont play

For some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason today, Steam CANT sync this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, and I cant get it to let me JUST PLAY THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME. What can I do to correct Steams ♥♥♥♥♥♥ service? I even turned off netflix on my TV and I still cant play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. Thanks alot Steam.

Your try all the obvious things? Validate and all that? Not being rude, just asking if done those things yet. I expect you have but need ask.
Restart Pc
Restart steam
check connection
Validate game
Turn off mods
update drivers
Just a few things i can think of offhand. Might help.. might not. But best i can think off till some one else who knows more joins.

yup, update 6 simply not running, been thru the checklist above, twice... all i get is the initial syncing and starting box, then nothing..... no clue if there is a crash report either....

try finding the cache... C:\Users\Nemisis\AppData\LocalLow\Mechanistry\Timberborn

delete the entire folder 'Mechanistry'. see if that fixes the issue, might help to reinstall the game after deleting that folder.

the other place to check is Documents/Timberborn.... try deleting that folder(except "Saves" unless you want to delete all your saved games...

if you delete those two folders and reinstall the game it should work...

Game not running I get a little window with Timberborn logo with red exclamation point then loading bar then it just goes back to steam.

One of the most common way to fix the game crashing is removing all outdated mods, as explained below. Read the instructions carefully because simply reinstalling the game or deleting all your mods is not enough, you also need to remove the BepinEx folder from the game's directory.

Also, the newest update requires at least Windows 10 or maxOS 11 - so if your operating system is lower, then you need to update to play newest update.

it's BAD form to change a games minimum requirements IMO.. if it started only needing windows 7 for example, then that should ALWAYS be the minimum requirement... that being said, i do run windows 10.. it is an older build of 10 that won't update for whatever reason Microsoft has decided though.... game still won't start, it simply refuse to keep running past the little box that says game is syncing and starting with update 6...

have u tried SFC SCANNOW ? see if you got any problems with your windows not updating?

After the 6th update the game stopped launching. The problem is the same as other participants of this topic. When launching the game window does not appear and the process disappears.

I would recommend deleting all traces of the game from appdata and documents plus uninstalling from steam, run a c cleaner pass, make sure everything is updated, make sure you have no mods associated to timberborn, do a restart and reinstall. if that don't work then its probably a bad driver. try redoing video drivers with DDU.... if it still don't work then God has deemed u unworthy.

SFC SCANNOW and other repair commands for windows does NOTHING to fix windows.. i have tried MULTIPLE times over the last several years.... otherwise my Nvidia drivers would be working again... and manually reinstalling Nvidia has failed because the file format is wrong for windows 10 apparently... sad thing is if i was able to use windows 7, the problem would have been fixed in no time.... but Microsoft in it's infinite stupidity thinks THEY know better than we do... as for GOD deeming me unworthy, well that's an entirely separate discussion NOT meant for Steam... trust me, you DON'T want to know my answer there...

Other games don't have this problem and they work fine on Windows 7.
