(Solved) what up with the price?

edit, see newest finding, turns out to be an unknown budle called vikings and beavers that is cheaper + a free game then the base game alone. (i have no clue how this became a wishlist and than shows as only basegame timberborn)

I had this game in my wishlist for quite a while, sitting around 30 bucks, now with the sale is see a big percentage but also a raise to 55 bucks, was 55 a new recent price? or is the price being manipulated to get a higher percentage?

to make things more confusing, in my wishlist it shows as 55.78 with 52%OFF= 26.98
and if i go via the store to the timberborn store page it shows 33.99 with 20% off = 27.19
no clue what is goin on here, there both in the same currency, base game only, and looking at both offers via my logged in steam account, so no localisation issues should be the case (edit: fixed some spelling errors) if anyone could have a look to see what they see, that would be most appreciated

Thank you, that does seems a lot more logical.

I re-checked, and it still show the 55 on my wishlist

they increased the price a while ago because the game has a lot more features now than it did back in 2021.

I assume it's some sort of display bug, since it does say its $27 at -50%, but it should be $34 - 20% = $27 as the graph shows.

yes i saw the original price increase from mid 20 to 30, that was also announced, thats why even more confused seeing the 55 in my wishlist, as it doesn't fit in what i have seen from the game for months, if not years that it has been on my wishlist.

guess some something like a bug is whats causing it, but yea weird.

mystery solved, i went ahead and tried to buy the wishlist version as that one was a few cents cheaper and had the weirdness going on, tursn out it is a double package with northgard in it. so somehow you get timberborn cheaper + a free other game than the regular store price
