Aqueducts - I fell in love with the game again.
Building proper aqueducts is soooo useful now. It completely changed how I irrigate the land to create verdant areas in various parts of the map while using only one single main reservoir.

That and the sluices that make badwater and reservoirs management much easier without having to use mods like the the trigger mod.

The tile based terrain in combination with the liquid physics really makes this game one of a kind. They did something truly innovative.
