There is no public roadmap so there's no way to tell when an full release can be expected.
You can look through the update history for major patches and see how the game has progressed. I can tell you that the game has consistently been worked on in the time I've following, with major content updates roughly every 6 months. In fact, the next major update is planned to be moved from the experimental branch to the main branch in the new few days.
The game is fully playable and quite fun in its current state. I would have guessed we were approaching a full release a few updates ago, but Mechanistry keeps pushing out new content. So we'll see what they're working on next.
TLDR: No public roadmap. Game is still being worked on consistently. It's fully playable and a lot of fun.
Ready or not just released from ea and baldurs gate 3 did so last year and im pretty sure valheim is not a game that will be ea forever and the devs have a solid plan theyre following. I try and follow respectable devs who are serious about making a finished product xD
Those are the kinds of ea games i play. I think most games that stay in ea perpetually are mostly from devs who arent fully into it, like the 5-10 buck games or flat out scams that you shouldnt be buying anyway. I think i havent experienced your version of the ea situation...
airport ceo
parkitect
911: First Responders
Cook, Serve, Delicious
The Long Dark
Railway Empire
Tropico 4/5/6
Recipe for Disaster
Stranded Deep
Frostpunk
There are more, but I don't take notes and memory fades...
What are you dreaming ? Plenty of EA games have released last year, including BG3.
Rimworld was a major one as that got put in serious hours.
No disrespect but it's thinking like this that actually encourages the few devs that work this way. Your statement just isn't factually true. You do you and all that but I'll do me and that means not buying EA until I have some idea of a release plan or target.
