Medical Beds Not Getting Medicine
I made a second district and I'm importing the medicine from my main district. My beds in the second district are not getting the medicine at all. I made tanks with medicine, even prioritized them for haulers. I also deleted the beds and placed new ones to no avail. These are iron teeth. Has anyone else encountered this? What's your workaround?

only dedicaded medics can give medicine. you need to build a medic hut in the new district.

Part of the function of the healer building is to disperse medicine to the medical beds. So you need a healer in the second district- Haulers won't haul directly to the beds.

Got it. Thanks! So it's ok for that healer not to have any dandelions to work on?

As long as you have a storage spot for the imported medicine, you should be fine without dandelions.

You can import any extra dandelions instead of medicine if you want your healer to be "busy," but I don't think it's super necessary.

The medical building does not need to be powered for medicine distribution. If you're producing medicine in one district and importing it, you only need to place the medical bed. The beaver will take the imported medicine.

The Healer building doesn't need to be powered for creating medicine either. It's not a powered building.

I do have storage tanks for medicine at first, but the lazy, injured beavers don't know how to get their own medicine without a healer.

In fact, if you go for space efficiency (not building/labor), transport and store dandelions instead of processed medicine. One medic will supply medicine to 20 beds easily. No need to store medicine because the consumption won't even stress the internal medicine storage.

For your first sprawling District one medic with dandelion storage can easily handle it.

If you have a distant high-injury district, just plop down dandelion storage and a new medic, since storage carries the same amount of medicine VS dandelions.
