Growth and death rate numbers?
I might just be a bit dumb but I can't seem to find any confirmation on growth and death numbers.

I mean numbers such as how many days with a free bed before a birth, how many days until a child grows up. And how many days a beaver can survive when hungry or thirsty - I know that well-being extends lifespan so asking about base numbers.

Cheers.

Births are rng as long as there are two adult beavers in a lodge and a free slot, it's not a cooldown/countdown (it's different with IT as they have Breeding Pods), but the chance is pretty high so it doesn't really impact anything.
A kit grows up after 5 days by default iirc, but higher wellbeing lowers that time by certain percentages.
Starving/dehydrated beavers can last a few days, I can't remember the exact number.

Good to know. Cheers ears.

I always run into growth spikes right around the first drought, and death spikes shortly after and thought knowing the values might help haha.

Death/birth waves are going to be a thing, even if you try to balance ages around more, since dead beaver = free bed. If you keep a small surplus of free/low priority workers they should compensate for this.

For the FT the advice is not to build too many housing at the same time as this causes many births at the same time and therefore later many deaths at the same time. Spreading out building houses in time will also spread the births.

For IT you have to spread out building the breading pots to get the same effect.

Also, you can pause breeding pots.

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm a serial new game starter so... gonna do that again armed with this knowledge.

wish they would just add some randomness to beavers maximum age so this problem would solve itself instead of requiring this type of min/maxing on the players part.
