90 degree high power shafts, straight up power shaft, ropes, ladders and some other ideas
as the title says i think the game could benefit from these quite well i think suspension bridges are too expensive should be made with planks, logs and rope ladders would be handy same with a double high mini lodge and double high small storage(could be called medium storehouse) last thing would be wide solid platforms that attach on the sides and can bridge over things on the ground such as log piles. great game exited to see what more they add.

FWIW, there's a Feedback & Suggestions forum as well.

In lieu of taller power shafts, power can be transferred through other buildings like housing and warehouses.

There's no solid suspension bridge like what you're wanting, but there is a 5x5 metal platform that allows building above ground structures.

yes, this is true power can be transferred between buildings and is also very handy but more options are always better i consistently have to run power up cliffs(where houses do not fit/ are not practical) in longer ways than i could if accommodated with more power shaft options. This and the lack of gap spanning(not necessarily touching the ground directly) metal/wood "solid" platforms are my only issues really i get it's early access and more content is surely on the way, i am just trying to give some constructive criticism/ideas to what i think is a great game that i am currently approaching 50 hrs of gameplay on.

They could add a one-tile vertical power shaft, with top and bottom right-angled pieces to give greater flexibility.

we need high power shafts that turn as well as go up they are not in game currently maybe even high power T's and X's

How about a power cube that only the Iron Teeth get ... one that transmits and receives power on all 6 sides?

(If we're talking power gears, I'd much rather have a differential to use with Windmills.)

I mean a single unit vertical shaft like the single unit horizontal shaft, so you could place the horizontal-to-vertical piece, then stack e.g. five vertical shafts, then a vertical-to-horizontal piece so you can go straight up instead of diagonally with the current piece,

Yes I need this since the removal of power transmitting warehouses especially as the irontooth houses arn't as easy to sink into the ground

I definitely want the vertical shafts that turn to the side, that have T and + connections, that just go straight up and up.

i don't want 20 different power shafts.

i just want to have 1. i just want to place them like i would leevees, in a line, up down, whatever.

and then the game should just figure out the graphics to make it look as it does today by itself.

There is a mod that does this (along with vertical ladders) and it's so difficult going back to the base game without it now.
