Raise Land?
I am able to build structures anywhere with stairs and platforms. But farming is only available on soil. As far as I know I cannot raise land level for soil. I was hoping to flood extensively, but I am worried there will not be enough farmable land if I do.
Any thoughts?

I want them to add a block (like the decorative plant) for crops. Every house could have it's own garden on the roof, or a field raised by levees could be covered in em. Irrigation would be an issue though. Would have to address that too.

Irrigation could be addressed with aqueducts.. I've been asking for large scale aqueducts... Or maybe instead of your idea with a decorative block, it could be different sized hydroponics farms that your carriers can deliver water to. Maybe a chance for some unique foods?

Aqueducts would be nice. I have thought about trying to build them with levies and platforms but haven't tried yet.

They would need to rework how water is simulated to support aqueducts.

Build walls with tall levee stacks around the land you want to farm to keep the water out. Or, depending on the map, you can move the farms higher up since as a higher water level will make higher areas green.

Unfortunately you cant stack levees on platforms... But It would be awesome if you could!!! Getting the water to a higher elevation is also a problem... I would love to see a water wheel with buckets, or two water wheels stacked ontop of eachother with a chain of buckets to raise the water up to an aqueduct but unfortunately from the sound of other people the devs have zero interest in this idea :(
