What are the ratios?
New player coming in from years of Banished. I am pondering if there's a wiki or something that can help optimize.

* How much farmland can one beaver attend?
* How much do they eat and drink?

Folks like to round up and just go with about 3 food and water a day. The amount of farmland a single beaver can maintain changes based on the crop. A single beaver can maintain 8 crops per day on a 16 hour work day(roughly) so a farm that can have 2 beavers could maintain 16. You just multiply that by the number of days the crop takes to grow and you've got your answer. Now if you want to start mixing crops that a farm grows? You're gonna have to pull out your Algebra.

Valid question and answer, but I will say this game is a lot easier to "eyeball" than Banished. The depth of play is less in the production chain ratios and more in the water flow management.

Oh? Like flooding the entire valley just so you can see if the single water wheel you have can hit 600 hp?

At the start (and I don't think that has evolved) a beaver was drinkng 2 water and eating 2.5 food per day . But 3 food and 3 water give some margin. Water can be use elsewhere.

For farm I never counted exaclty because work speed and walk speed tend to mess up thinks. The only think I do is placing the crops that grow quicker closer the the farm. They will need to go there more often.

There is a spreadsheet that calculates how much food and water you need for x days and y beavers; I don't know if the values are still valid today

The real problem is that we don't have any kind of UI "Busy Meter" that tells us if Farmers are working full-time or if they can handle more crops, and similar for other Jobs. Instead, we're expected to manually observe the beavers and draw conclusions on that shabby basis.
