game keeps crashing when i launch it
i played for a good hour without any problems, i quit out tried to launch again but it doesnt even get to the tittle screen before it crashed and iv tried everything, uninstalling and reinstalling, verifying game files, restarting my pc, restarting steam if anyone else has this problem and fixed it pls lemme know. i dont wanna refund i was having a lot of fun pls help

Dxgi_error_device_removed is an error that usually occurs when playing games on your computer. It is a DirectX error code, which may also indicate the crashing of a driver. It does not appear to be confined to a specific game or hardware.

Even though the error usually occurs when playing a game, it is not actually due to the game. It may be a driver error. It may manifest when the video card is removed from the system or if a driver upgrade for the video card has recently taken place.

Please check the crashlog.log and send it to me. It should be in the game folder next to the .exe (right click the game in steam, open properties and click LOCAL FILES -> BROWSE LOCAL FILES...).

thank you @isk ! It looks like it's an error with setting the screen settings (full-screen/borderless/windowed). Could you please also send me the graphics.xml file, it's in Content/settings/graphics.xml.

In the meantime I will try to reproduce the crash. What specs are you running?

you could try to replace the contents of the graphics.xml file with this, to make it start in windowed mode and see if that works.

New Crashlog. I replaced the info the the xml file with what you told me to and now it the game opens and closes itself within a second.
Also im running a gtx580, i7-2,6k, 8gb ram.

might be a corrupted save file, try deleting the Saves folder

yes i deleted the game files and it worked again figured out last night thank god
you guys made a very rage inducing game and i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ love it! especially the old man that just taunts you every time you fail, very rude. thanks for the response 10/10 game

i also cant launch jump king, but crash log doesnt apear.
the game doesnt run, it says launching then running then it doesnt open, i tried all the selutions online and nothing worked
I bought this game today and I have some issue with it. When I start the game it doesn't launch but steam says the game is running, it also shows that it's running in my task manager but doesn't show up on my screen. PLEASE HELP ASAP.
