How do I get passed Death and into the church in Mission 1? Which keys are the down arrow and left arrow by default?

ok you have to run to the church, everytime the prompt comes up to hit the key direction you have to wait until the ring shrinks into the inner white ring's zone - don't just hit the arrow key right away

By default the arrow keys represent the arrow keys on the keyboard?

it's the movement keys, so WASD, sorry i wasn't clear about that - it uses the arrows as directions and not literal arrow keys

One more, how do I burn down the door in Mission 6 Nightmare 1 level? Im playing with a key board not controller? Do I have to upgrade first to use this power?

You should get the power before you need to break the door down. (I don't know the default keys as I have changed all mine.) First enter curse. Next aim \ ready curse. The 'fire' key is label 'Contextual'.

ya, i tried that. unresponsive with keyboard. ill give it one more shot then im uninstalling this pile of ♥♥♥♥. I'd be less mad if I didnt have to rewwatch every single cutscene everytime i lost but nope.

DONT USE THE ARROW KEYS ! Use W-S-A-D
Refer to my last Post (Answer to Topic "Is this game any good?")
You have to run to the church (up ----W) =>
EVADE Deaths attacks by dodging them.
How to do this? Hit the correct/correspondent Keys (WSAD) when the mark reaches the greyed out area (if the Direction Signs (NOT ARROW KEYS!).
Timing is essential! Too early or too late - you`ll die!
You are TOO EARLY if you hit the correct key immediately if the signs appear!

PS: dont`t just stand there - you have to run to the church as well .
this means running to the church entrance and stop to evade the attack - hit the correct key in the right moment (when the mark is in the greyd out circle - this is your time window)
Movement keys can be changed is the setup/options menu. Standard keyboard is WSAD

WSAD Richtungstasten- Achtung die Pfeilsymbole sollen nur die Richtung anzeigen - sie sind NICHT die Pfeiltasten auf derTastatur, auch wenn man sie dafür halten könnte. Drückt die entsprechende Taste, wenn die Markierung innerhalb des ausgegrauten Bereiches ist.
PS: vergesst nicht - WEITERHIN in Richtung Kirchenportal zu laufen! Erreicht Euch der Tod, sterbt ihr ebenfalls!
