Trombone Champ
Fix probably the worst sounding song?
Hey, I was playing today and realized something. "Are u Ready 4 thiz" sounds TERRIBLE. Like seriously, make it better. My eardrums are ringing just by listening to it

I'm honestly not quite sure why they made this song, It didn't really need to be in the game, but we're stuck with it now. Just... try and ignore it.

Ironically, this track is currently the most streamed on our Spotify page!

Huh. I assumed it would be trombone skyze.

Honestly it's so bad it becomes good again. Judging from the description, that's what you guys were going for anyway, so it's a job well done.

Thanks! For context: when the game released, there were a number of classical songs, but on the electronic side all we had was Trombone Skyze, Long-Tail Limbo, and Baboons... since the game draws a lot of inspiration from rhythm games, we really wanted a "darker" track, kinda like the Paranoia remixes in DDR, to balance out the "rainbowy" electronic tracks.

We also had a concept where the notes in this track would be completely randomized, but that would have added a lot of pointless code to the gameplay screen and wasn't yielding funny results... ultimately, we thought it sounded funnier if the notes were hand-placed but essentially random.

Admittedly, the final result is in a weird place where it's not bad-sounding-enough to be really funny, but also not good-sounding-enough to sound like a real song... hindsight is 20/20!...
