Valve Index Return/Service Policy
What is the policy regarding Valve Index returns or service? Like if there is a problem with something within the first year of ownership, will Valve fix it for you?

Did not see anything about this on the store page.

Standard warranty applies as far as I know. As long as you're within the warranty period you can talk to support to get it repaired/replaced at no cost, if the issue is not caused by rough handling or wear and tear that is.

Information about this could be presumed from consumer laws I guess, or maybe paperwork in the box, not sure as I didn't read through them 😅

What is the 'standard warranty"? I'm in the United States.

I think one year? I'm in Sweden, we have two years due to the EU, if I remember it correctly.

Standard warranty + 3 months or so for any time you had to RMA thanks to EU laws. I think on the US doesnt have this though.

Very actual topic for me. I stumbled over the cable and connector got damaged at safety breakaway. Anyone have experiences how they approach to this kind of problem? And how long does it take to replace the cable?
