Valve Index Replacement Cable?

Hello. So far, my headset cable is still working but am noticing a little bit of twisting around the strap on the back. Anyway, no apparent way it seems to order another one? I suppose its a unique cable only made by Valve? Just curious if anyone has had their headset cable fail. What then? Absolutely love my headset but anyway to order a replacement cable before it fails? Thank you.

They really should sell the cable on it's own the way they sell the face gaskets.

I was talking to a friend about this and they really do need to do this. i have looked it up and no one seem to sell them and if they do they are asking $130 for a cable
